Hi guys,

So this post hasnt been updated in a very long time and many things have happened.
We had Daniels birthday on May 12th, we celebrated by going out to dinner at our local casino and then played on the pokies, where dan also played Rollette and Blackjack and won :)
His birthday was a great day for him and he got pleasantly suprised when a suprise skype call woke him up :)   hehehe Dan certainly didnt know what was happening and was quite shocked to be woken up to his mum and Andy singing at the top of their lungs happy birthday :)

Since then we have also been to the Aquarium and seen the largest living coral reef in an aquarium. where we got to see Turtles, Sharks, eels, crayfish and shrimp. Not forgetting Dori and Nemo from Finding Nemo. I will post some photos later.

I, Sarah also travelled back to New Zealand for an unexpected visit to many people. It was great to be with family again, and say farewell to my poppa. He lived to the ripe old age of 91!!
Because the trip was so unexpected, i got the call from family on Tuesday and flew out the following morning at 6am. We didnt really have a chance to tell others i was going to be back, so Dan and i planned a suprise visit to some of the ones we love.

My absolute favourite suprised people were Jan and Ashley. We had told Joan and Fred (Dan's grandparents) i was coming but swore them to absolute secrecy! we needed a little spy within the ranks. and both Nana and I turned up to see Jan at the hospital at exactly the same time without planning anything. While we were walking to the ward, Joan (Nana) told me to hold back a little bit cause often jan is walking up and down the corridor. Lo and behold she was. I quickly ducked back while Joan slightly distracted her. After about 3 minutes Joan said i think their is someone else here to see you and both Jan and i walked forward. Well........ the tears came rolling and i nearly got squeezed to the end of my life!! It was absolutely awesome to see Jan and suprise her like that. I just wished Daniel was with me so we could of done it together. (Daniel had to remain back in townsville, because of his course)

Now Ashley's suprise visit was hilarious. I went around to our old home on Benmore to visit Aaron and Ash, to also check up on the house  hehehehe only jokes. Well i thought she realised it was me when she peeped through the curtains and saw me. Well anyway i knocked on the front door and she answered. Saying Hiiiii, how are you? and it took probably a couple of minutes before she registered who i was! Then  she yellled, 'OMG, OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE' it was hilarious.

It was great seeing everyone that i could, and im sorry to those that i couldnt visit, i only had a small amount of time and i wanted to be with my family as much as i possibly could.

Well since ive been back - i got a job :) working at a shop called the chemist Outlet - its a warehouse type chemist. As ive since found out medicine is really expensive! i work from anywhere between 22hours to 32 hours a week. i wish i could get more but you get what your given when you just need money coming in :)
oh and the pays not to bad either :)

Pretty much all in the space of one week, i got a job and our furniture turned up finally. So setting up home can finally begin! Its great to have our own things again, especially our bed :) so comfy. oh and i cant forget daniels computer hehehe. and my bike turned up so now whenever we can daniel and i go for big bike rides around townsville admiring the scenery.

So yea that pretty much it. Oh and with my first paycheck i brought a Guess handbag (friggin expensive) but i  have always wanted one, and a Kobo which is an ereader and then yesterday some proper running/walking sneakers. Yes i am back to being poor now, but thats about it for my big spending now.

Oh and yesterday dan brought me a herb garden :) its one of those pots with the little cups coming out the side. its awesome - we have rosemary, parsely, mint, thyme, oregano and chives. its cool

anyway better go and help dan bottle his beer!

talk to you soon
