Gidday,

So i may have lied last time. Opps sorry. I had full intentions of updated the blog over the weekend, but well other things got in the way. So here is our deepest apologies and i hope you accept its better late then never.

So what has happened.

Well..... where to begin!!
Firstly we got our first official visitors - Johanna, Phil, Luka and No 2! These are Sarah's sister, bro-in-law, Nephew and Niece/nephew (regarding no 2) It was awesome with a capital :O! It felt so good to see family again after such a long time. but boy did time fly!
We did loads of shopping, visited the park on the strand, went for walks and went to the billabong sanctuary!! Its was great to have them and it felt good for us to have them share abit of our life here. and for Sarah to be able to squeeze Luka and prod Jo's ever growing pregnant belly! hehehe

On the Blakeman's final night in townsville, we received another visitor. Sarah's cousin from the Netherlands Koen and his friend Chris. We went for pizzas on the beach and watched some of the sunset. It felt so good being around family, i dont think i could say it more often.

They stayed with us for about 3 nights. Sadly we did have to work while they were with us but they kept themselves busy by visiting Maggie island and the coral reef and sunbathing on the beach!! But we did get one day together and we went to the billabong sanctuary AGAIN! Lol its great fun seeing everyones reactions to the aussie wildlife and yet also Who would of thought you could sun bath in the middle of winter! haha! We loved having our visitors and cant wait for more (hint hint)

Well.....

Then we went to our first rugby League game - Warriors VS North Queensland Cowboys (Home country vs new home town) well what a game the warriors got their asses whipped 55-12 to the cowboys

 

                           

SO yea that was a cool night but a sad night!

At the moment we are busy organising a trip up to Cairns and Port Douglas, where were planning on visiting the great barrier reef and do some exploring. Then its time to save for NEw Zealand! Yup were coming home for christimas!!
